** Docudrama is neither a complete documentary nor a fictional story. So, what is the story of the 'blue crown', how or how much is our soul?

Kamar Ahmad Simon's first film, the first picture of the fiction-non-fiction genre Jaltariye get to hear! (2014). He then presented Monologue Collage A Thread Statement (2015) with the oblique question of our time. Besides, he started shooting for the second film of Jaltrai, Another Day, as well as Shikalbaha. But 'Blue Crown', released on his birthday yesterday, is another unplanned film whose simplicity and authenticity fascinated me just like that first film.

The sequel to 'Blue Crown' is about a group of Bangladeshi women police officers on a UN peacekeeping mission and is shown arriving in Haiti, a North American country, from the Saradha Police Academy. Generally speaking, looking at the picture as a viewer will make you feel like you are around that female group at some point.

What do you hear! Pictures of the aftermath of the cyclone 'Aila' that struck southern Bangladesh in 2009 and the struggle of survivors against that situation. And 'Nilmukut' is about the people of another unseen world from whom we want to stay away because their emotions, laughter, tears, feelings, anger, quarrels, or fears are not seen.

Since there is no voice-over, no interview, or excuse to state any information, the 'blue crown' as a documentary is not a lot but a picture that explains a lot. The lives and professional challenges of those who leave the country, home, relatives, husband, and children and spend days and nights in the distance wearing the blue crown of the police are captivating in every frame, in the most informal conversation.

While this movie format is not new to us here, it can be boring for many due to its low practice. The camera that accompanies this journey of an all-female female police officer may not give the artwork or the framed barrier pleasure. But the fact that Kamar Ahmad Simon has shown a journey by pretending to speak like himself really strengthens the two words 'our film' in the world arena.

*** I said at the beginning that not everyone will like this documentary film. Many people find it boring. But those who like it again will like it a little more. Basically, those who know about docu-drama will like it. Speaking of which, I like it fairly well.

Kamar Ahmad Simon's second movie Blue Crown. It has premiered on the 8th of Charaki. I was waiting a long time to see it. I finally took a look. The director's own style was running in this movie too. All those who acted were members of the armed forces. However, the two main characters were Shahana Afroz Khan Chowdhury and Monalisa Awal.

The backdrop of this docu-drama was on the 1-year peacekeeping mission of some female police members. And the country in charge was Haiti. It has been beautifully shown how many training sessions the police have before the peacekeeping mission. It has been shown how much sorrow, hardship, happiness, and pain it takes to leave one's family and live in another country. It has been explained that living without family is not easy at all.

Everyone's performance as a member of the armed forces was good. However, Shahana Afroz was more on the screen. He has done well in his acting. In fact, I went to see that the director had a blue crown in the name of the movie. Not everyone will like it. Those who want to see it will like it.

Happy watching
