Rohingya Crisis In Bangladesh Paragraph with Bangla Meaning
Rohingya refers to refugees from the Rakhine state of Myanmar who fled to Bangladesh during the ethnic cleansing by the Myanmar army. The Myanmar government has persecuted the Rohingya people with security forces and they have faced genocide in Myanmar, according to a UN statement.
In 2017 when they started fleeing from their homes and fled to Bangladesh for asylum. These refugees are known as Rohingya. However, Bangladesh has shown the utmost humanity towards them and has given shelter to 10 million Rohingyas currently living in different camps in Bangladesh. But it also causes a lot of problems at the same time. Since their camps are very dirty, it is very difficult for them to survive. There are no good arrangements for sanitation and other necessary materials. Rohingyas are living a life of compassion. The Bangladesh government has already held several discussions with international organizations and the Myanmar government to restore the Rohingya people with dignity and respect. However, the Myanmar government does not seem to care about the Rohingya as they are not accepting citizenship. It has been said from the beginning that the Rohingyas are not legal citizens of Myanmar but of Bangladesh. This has now become a serious problem for Bangladesh as Rohingyas have fled the camps and become involved in various criminal activities. Since they are living miserable lives in refugee camps, they often get sick. Moreover, they are giving birth to thousands of children who will be difficult to send back to Myanmar. These are also a big problem for our people and the environment. Although various international humanitarian organizations have visited the site and suggested that the Rohingya be relocated quickly, the Myanmar government has not taken such action. Our government also lacks the diplomatic capacity on this issue and that is why the Rohingyas are not returning to their country. However, this situation should not be chronic. Otherwise, it could cause even bigger problems for our people. Both governments should discuss this issue and come up with a coherent solution so that the Rohingya people can return to their homes and this should be done very carefully.
The international community should also raise its voice to address this issue as it has now become an international issue. We hope that soon the Rohingya problem will be solved and our people will return to their normal lives which have been severely damaged by these Rohingya refugees.
