❣️💕এবারের ভ্যালেন্টাইনের রয়েছে আলাদা আবেদন। বসন্তের নিবিড় ছোয়ায় নিয়ে আসবে নতুন মাত্রা।
❣️💕কিন্তু কিভাবে হলো এই ভ্যালেন্টাইন ডের প্রচলন।জানতে চাইলে থাকুন কিছুক্ষন আমার সাথেই।
❣️💕২৬৯ খ্রিস্টাব্দের শুরুর সময়ে শুরু হয় এর কাহিনী।নিষ্ঠুর,নির্দয় ক্লোরিয়াস, ইউরোপের রোমের রাজা।তিনি খুব দ্রুততার সাথে সাম্রাজ্যের বিস্তার ঘটিয়েছিলেন।
❣️💕রাজা ক্লোরিয়াস এর বদ্ধমূল ধারনা ছিল বিবাহিত পুরুষদের তুলনায় অবিবাহিত পুরুষরা বেশি শক্তিশালী। তিনি বিবাহের বিরুদ্ধে ছিলেন। কোন ভাবেই যেন সাম্রাজ্যে কোন বিবাহ না হতে পারে সেই নির্দেশ দেন।তার এই ঘোষণায় সাম্রাজ্যজুড়ে হতাশা নেমে আসে।
❣️💕রোম সাম্রাজ্যেরই এক খ্রিস্টান পাদ্রী ও চিকিৎসক "সেন্ট ভ্যালেন্টাইন" নামে এক খ্রিস্টান যুবকের এই অমানবিক নির্দেশ পছন্দ না হওয়াতে সে বিদ্রোহ করে বসে সম্রাট ক্লোরিয়াস এর বিরুদ্ধে। সে রাজ্যের বিবাহে উপযোগী যুবকদের উৎসাহ দিত এবং লড়াইয়ের সাহস যোগাতো।সম্রাট জানতে পেয়ে তাকে কারাগারে বন্দি করার নির্দেশ দেন।
❣️💕কারাগারে বন্দি থাকা অবস্থায় তার কিছু আধ্যাত্মিকতার কথা প্রকাশ পায় কারাগার রক্ষীর কাছে।সেই রক্ষীর ছিলো এক অন্ধ মেয়ে।সেই অন্ধ মেয়ের দৃষ্টি ফেরানোর জন্য প্রার্থনা নিয়ে আসেন সেন্ট ভ্যালেন্টাইন এর কাছে।
❣️💕কারারক্ষীর কথায় সেন্ট ভ্যালেন্টাইন ঈশ্বরের কাছে তার প্রার্থনা জানান। এর কিছুদিন পরেই অন্ধ মেয়েটি ঈশ্বরের কৃপায় দৃষ্টি ফিরে পায়।
❣️💕মেয়েটি আসে সেন্ট ভ্যালেন্টাইন কে একটু দেখা ও ধন্যবাদ জানানোর জন্য। এখান থেকেই একে অপরের প্রতি ভালোবাসা জন্মায়। সেন্ট ভ্যালেন্টাইন মেয়েটিকে বিবাহের প্রস্তাব দেয়। কিন্তু ছড়িয়ে যায় খবর। রাজার কানেও পৌঁছায়।
❣️💕সম্রাট নির্দেশ দেয় বিয়ে না করতে কিন্তু ভ্যালেন্টাইন তার কথা আমান্য করায় ফাঁসির আদেশ পায়।
❣️💕 ফাঁসির আদেশ পাওয়ার পর পরই সে তার প্রেমিকার উদ্যেশ্যে চিঠি লিখে।
❣️💕সেই চিঠির ওপরে লেখা ছিল "From Your Valentine".
❣️💕২৭০ খ্রিষ্টাব্দের ১৪ই ফেব্রুয়ারী সকালে সেন্ট ভ্যালেন্টাইন কে ফাঁসি দেয়া হয়।হত্যার পর কারা প্রধান চিঠিটি দিয়েছিলেন মেয়েটিকে। কোথাও মেয়েটির নাম উল্যেখ নেই।
❣️💕৪৯৬ সালে পোপ সেন্ট জেলাসিউও ১ম জুলিয়াস ভ্যালেন্টাইন এর স্মরণে ১৪ই ফেব্রুয়ারীকে ভ্যালেন্টাইন ডে ঘোষণা করেন।

But if you want to know how this Valentine's Day came to be, stay with me for a while.
The story begins at the beginning of 269 AD. Clorias, the cruel, ruthless king of Rome in Europe.
King Clorias' idea was that unmarried men were stronger than married men. He was against marriage. He instructed that there should be no marriage in the empire in any way. His announcement brought down despair in the empire.
A young Christian pastor and physician named "St. Valentine" in the Roman Empire disliked this inhumane instruction and revolted against Emperor Clorius. He encouraged young men suitable for marriage in the kingdom and gave them the courage to fight. When the emperor found out, he ordered him to be imprisoned.
While in prison, some of his spirituality was revealed to the prison guard. The guard had a blind girl.
According to the jailer, St. Valentine prayed to God. Shortly thereafter, the blind girl regained her sight by the grace of God.
The girl comes to see and thank St. Valentine. This is where love for each other grows. St. Valentine proposes marriage to the girl. But the news spread. Reaches the ears of the king.
The emperor orders her not to marry but Valentine disobeys her and gets the death sentence.
Shortly after receiving the death sentence, he wrote a letter to his girlfriend.
The letter read, "From Your Valentine."
St. Valentine was hanged on the morning of February 14, 260 AD. The girl's name is not mentioned anywhere.
In 498, Pope St. Gelasius also declared February 14th Valentine's Day in memory of the 1st Julius Valentine.
