The Matrix Resurrections (2021) Review and IMDb Rating

✍️ The 4th movie of Matrix came after 16 years. However, I did not expect much from the movie. Because the ending of the 3rd movie was perfect. There was no need to make a 4th movie.

[Overall]

In some places, the producers failed as a movie and in some places, their work was good.
The first 30-40 minutes of the movie were very slow. I started to feel a little annoyed. This slow feeling has a negative effect on the movie. But the last 40 minutes were very good.

The weakest was the casting of the movie. Agent Smith and Morpheus starred in the first 3 Matrix movies, Hugo Weaving and Laurence Fishbourne respectively. Jonathan Groff and Yahya Abdul Matin II, who played Agent Smith and Morpheus in this movie, did not show much power in the role of Agent Smith and Morpheus. The two opposite characters seem more vulnerable.

There were a few more characters in which the actors who played the roles failed miserably. But Keanu Reeves, Carrie Anne-Moss, and Priyanka Chopra have done well. Carrie Ann-Moss's screen time would have been a little longer. The Bugs character is also average.

There is no doubt that the VFX and action scenes of the movie were awesome. I especially like the actions of Kianu Reeves.
Overall, the movie did not live up to its hype. But it didn't feel bad at once. The story of the movie could have been a little better. And Agent Smith and Morpheus could have been presented more powerfully.

He could have done something new in the story without copying the exact Matrix 1. The ending could have been better. The original cast of Morpheus and Agent Smith should have been brought back.
The movie is not so good, nor is it bad. Can be said to be enjoyable.
