'Pegasus' is now a new and widely discussed topic in world politics. Even West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has recently plastered all the cameras on her mobile and laptop for fear of this Pegasus. I am saying at the beginning that today's post will be a little longer. Because many countries and governments have come together in this post. So for the convenience of understanding and before moving on to the main discussion, I have first discussed a little background knowledge. You can find out about world politics in the seventeenth, eighteenth, nineteenth, or twentieth centuries by reading different books. Because those are now history.

But I haven't found a good book on world politics since the year 2000. I try to post in summary form what I can learn by reading the international journals published by the faculty members of the political science departments of different universities. I hope you are getting rich from my posts.

Those who regularly research international politics will notice that there have been some new changes in world politics in the twenty-first century. Current world politics is going to shift from its conventional system to a new kind of system. So to understand international politics you have to catch these new shifts.

In the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, most of the countries of the world had dictatorships, many countries were under European colonies and some countries were under different kings or queens. Then in the twentieth century, the states became independent from the colonies, many new states were created. Military rule was established in most of these new states. Then, in the late twentieth century, states moved away from military rule and entered the early stages of democracy through elections. We are in this early stage of democracy

Let's call it 'Nascent Democracy'.

At the beginning of the twenty-first century, democracy began to develop in the states. Now in this age of technological modernity, democratic states are about to enter a new kind of system or trend. Some call this new trend 'Soft Totalitarianisms', while historians like Yuval Noah Harari call it 'Digital Authoritarianism'. This digital authoritarianism means that the ruling party or government is controlling the people through technology, controlling the freedom of speech through digital law, monitoring the people with malware or software (Mass Surveillance), which is a threat to democracy.

At present, regardless of personal privacy, the political elite class or the government, through 'Big Data Analysis' and 'Micro Targeting' of digital technology, is taking the perfect idea about every user's small choice and demand. Now because of this advantage, politicians are able to take advantage of the mental weakness of each person separately. As a result, democracy is now in an uncertain middle-aged crisis.

The use of Artificial Intelligence or Microchip will in the near future inform the government about your used car travel information, the fridge will tell you what kind of food you like to eat and the information provided through social media will tell you about the details of your daily life. This new pattern of the 21st century has been identified by David Ranchiman, head of the political science department at Cambridge University, as a political earthquake.

With this technology, not only the people of a country but the whole world can be controlled. Israel is one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world today. In today's post, I will try to show you about a megaproject in Israel to control the whole world.

About eleven years ago today, in 2010, three Israelis (Niv Karmi, Salev Hulio, and Omri Levai) set up a technology firm. Their technology firm was named NSO Group with the initials of the three citizens. The NSO Group has become one of the best technology companies in the world today.

This private NSO group, licensed by the Israeli government, has developed a state-of-the-art software called Pegasus. Once this software called Pegasus can get in the way of your phone, it will turn your phone into a 24-hour surveillance device without your knowledge. Pegasus copies and sends as many messages as it gets on the phone. The same goes for pictures on the phone. This software can record up to phone calls, even secretly capture your video using the phone's camera.

You may be talking to someone with a phone in hand. Pegasus can wake up your phone's microphone and record that conversation without your knowledge. Pegasus can also identify where you are, or where you went, who you met. (Source: Guardian)

This morning I came back from the official website of NSO Group. There they claim, this software is the best software in the world to monitor or spy on them.

Their claims range from WhatsApp chats to their call list, call logs, who they are texting to, whether they are chatting with any other application, complete information can be obtained by Pegasus. And you have to buy this sophisticated software from their official website. They made it clear on the website that they did not develop the software for personal gain. This software has been developed for global security and stability.

There I saw not only Pegasus but many other security-related software and devices they develop. According to them, this spyware software is used to deter terrorists, terrorists, and drug suppliers. In many cases, terrorists can be identified but not caught due to a lack of evidence. That's when his phone is monitored through this software. And using this software, a lot of terrorists have been caught and Israel has saved the whole world from a lot of bomb blasts.

Many international organizations have researched at various times whether any other purpose is being implemented using the 'Pegasus' software developed by the Israeli company NSO Group. In today's world politics of the 21st century, no one can be trusted, be it a friend or an enemy.

That's why in 2016, the Canadian security company 'The Citizen Lab' was the first to start research on this Israeli technology company. In September 2016, Citizen Lab reported that the Israeli software was being used in a total of 45 countries around the world.

Then in October 2019, WhatsApp released information that the Indian government was using the device on journalists and politicians in its country. That's when the worldwide debate about the Israeli project of controlling the whole world through Pegasus began.

A total of 17 international media outlets, including Amnesty International, The Washington Post in the United States, The Guardian in Britain, and The Wire in India, have launched a project called The Pegasus Project to investigate the matter. The heads of state, important political figures, human rights activists, and many others from the 45 countries claimed by the Canadian The Citizen Lab have undergone postmortem. Just a few days ago, Pegasus published their search report. All the terrible information has come up in the report.

I am mentioning the names of some of the politicians who have appeared in the leaked list all over the world; -

1. Iraqi President and Kurdish leader Bahram Salih have been targeted in Saudi Arabia.

2. The current president of South Africa is Cyril Ramaphosa. He was hanged in Rwanda in 2019.

3. Former Mexican President Felipe Calderon. He was asked to monitor in 2016 and 2017. He was hacked while his wife, Margarita Javala, was fighting for the country's highest political office.

4. Attempts have been made to hack into the mobile phones of dozens of officials, including French President Macron and 14 French ministers in his government. They have been targeted from Morocco. The French daily Le Monde, one of the partners in the search, said in a report that Mr. Macron's phone targeted a Moroccan intelligence agency that he had been using since 2016.

5. Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri was targeted between 2016 and 2019 in the United Arab Emirates. Hariri stepped down as Lebanon's prime minister two weeks ago.

6. Ugandan Prime Minister Ruhakana Rugunda has been targeted from Rwanda.

7. The Guardian newspaper in London says Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan has been targeted from India and his clues have been found.

8. About 10,000 phone numbers have been targeted from Morocco, including the WHO chief and former Italian prime minister Romano Prodi.

9. Charles Michel, President of the European Council. He was targeted in 2019 from Morocco. He was then Prime Minister of Belgium.

10. Moroccan Prime Minister Saad Uddin Usmani. He was asked to be monitored in 2018 and 2019. And that was done from his own country.

11. There is also a king. King Mohammed VI of Morocco. He was targeted in 2019. His country's security forces wanted to keep an eye on him.

12. Longtime US diplomat Robert Malley. He was the chief negotiator on the US-Iran deal. He was targeted in 2019 from Morocco.

13. The head of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanam Gaborriasus. In 2019, interest was shown to him from Morocco.

Three of the ten prime ministers on the list are still in power:

The seven former prime ministers targeted for surveillance while in power are:
